So what is the advantage of plasma surface welding can bring to us ?

 

1. The wear resistance of the pick is significantly improved.

 The advanced plasma cladding strengthening technology is used to cladding a high hardness carbide on the head of the pick, which has the characteristics of high hardness, good toughness, wear resistance and impact resistance, which well protects the head of the cutter picks, reduces the wear speed of the head tooth, makes the teeth wear synchronically with the alloy head, and achieves the optimal match. The wear resistance is 1.5-3 times higher than that of the ordinary pick tooth.

 

2. Significantly improved bending performance.

According to the broken parts and bending conditions of the teeth in the process of use, the advanced analysis software ANSYS is used to conduct a computer simulation analysis of the force failure of the teeth in the process of use, and according to the analysis results, a unique heat treatment process and other production and processing technology is developed, which greatly improves the overall bending resistance of the teeth and the surface strength of the teeth. Ensure the normal use of the pick.

 

3. "No sparks" during use.

In the process of use, especially in the process of cutting rock, a large number of sparks will be generated, which brings great safety risks to coal mine production. Because a layer of carbide is coated on the head of the cutter, the amount of sparks generated by the cutter during use is reduced by more than 90%, which greatly improves the safety of coal mining. The ordinary cutter produces a bright spark of about 60cm in length during polishing. The plasma cladding strengthened pick basically does not produce sparks during the grinding process, only a few dark sparks appear, and the spark length is only 10-20cm.

 

4. Comparison between plasma powder cladding and wear-resistant wire surfacing:

 Plasma surfacing can be surfaced after grinding the finished product and has no effect on the pick itself. Wear-resistant wire surfacing pick up before the pick quenching.
